Gay of the year
I was nominated in 1990 at the New Idea International Mister Gay Disco in Milan. My fame, albeit modest, preceded me in the places where I went; this appointment was everywhere a sort of let-pass in the world of entertainment and fashion. I was only 19.

An inexplicable discomfort
The gay love hoped for, longed for and so desired, sought with so much intensity, always ended only in a sexual relationship. Only that kind of intimacy was sought, due to the inability to truly relate to the heart! It was like an addiction. Yes, I still have those faces printed in my soul: faces of boys with my same pain.

The rediscovered identity
Thus I embarked on a path of conversion, on a psychological and religious basis, which helped me to discover and heal the wounds of many years before, to the point of regaining possession of my sexual identity. A tiring journey, made up of many doubts and falls, which led me to Medjugorje, where I began a complete inner rebirth. Finding myself again ...

Now I am happy and free
The day of my wedding to a woman, August 22, 2008, was the best day of my life. Only later did Terry and I find out that “Maria Regina” is celebrated on 22 August and that, evidently, the direction of our lives was in his hands even in that circumstance. The long-sought love was fulfilled when I became the father of a beautiful little girl in 2014. A new life began, filled with a joy and a peace never experienced before.

Ho scoperto di essere lesbica quando lavoravo negli ambienti universitari. Mi occupavo di scienze sociali perciò, un po’ per lavoro, un po’ per interesse, iniziai a frequentare movimenti femministi.
